TRAVEL VLOGS, 2014

After not applying for University, I decided to use the money I had saved up from my weekend job to buy a camera, final cut pro and get insured on my mums Fiat Punto. With the goal of driving to Amsterdam, Milan, Barcelona, Madrid and Paris. (Fashion and Football reasons). On the way I drove to over 25 cities, documenting bitesize pieces of the journey in a Vlog format.

I wanted to travel and experience cities, also with the desire to develop a portfolio to apply to University the following year, and utilising this travel experience as a part of that portfolio.

What is now horrendously cringe worthy to look back on now, these Vlogs are an important moment in my journey to reach University.

The experience was my first ever camera, my first experience of Final Cut Pro, and using the YouTube space. Everything was filmed throughout my journey in each city, edited on the go in cafes and in my car in campsites, and uploaded on campsite wifi’s. (Very quickly found that finding a posh hotel and going in for a beer or coffee, depending on the time of day ofcourse, and using their wifi was 100% the way to go)
